It comes with a heavy heart after five and a half years of running my gallery and studio in the Royal Quays Shopping Centre the time has come to close the doors for the last time on May 31st .  I would just like to say a massive thank you to everyone that has visited and supported my business since I opened in December 2012.  In all honesty I never expected it to last this long, it was one gigantic leap of faith to open a retail premises purely on the idea of selling images of our beloved North East.  There have been ups and downs along the way, one hell of a learning curve and so many fantastic memories.  I think the fact that we’ve only ever had one return in that whole time speaks volumes about not only the strength of the images but quality of the final product we deliver.

However….This is Not the End!

We’re proud and excited to announce that we are going to be a part of STACK Newcastle’s’ newest city centre development.  STACK’ IS A CONTEMPORARY CREATIVE SOCIAL HUB FOR ENTERTAINMENT, CULTURE, SHOPPING AND WORKING.
IT IS A DESTINATION CONCEPT IN THE HEART OF NEWCASTLE CITY CENTRE.
STACK WILL BE BUILT UPON A LOCATION FAMOUS FOR ENTERTAINMENT DATING BACK TO 1931 AS THE PARAMOUNT THEATRE AND LATER THE ODEON CINEMA.

At the time of this post we don’t have an exact opening date but it is expected to be late June/early July.  I’ll be shouting all about that and a launch event to coincide with it too when we know more.

In the mean time

We will continue to trade online and from the other fantastic outlets that we’re a part of.  The North East Art Collective in Eldon Garden houses the largest collection of my work outside of my own gallery.  At the coast you can get a local selection from the Link Art Gallery.  I’ll also continue at markets and events across the region.
